WWT EMEA has an opportunity available for a detail-oriented and analytical Technical Project Manager to lead and deliver complex data centre transformation programmes. This role will be responsible for managing large-scale initiatives such as migrations, consolidations, and infrastructure modernisation, ensuring successful outcomes across technical, operational, and business dimensions.
The successful candidate will combine strong technical expertise with excellent project leadership and stakeholder management skills, driving delivery within scope, budget, and timelines while maintaining a focus on quality and risk management.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the end-to-end delivery of data centre transformation projects, including physical and cloud migration programmes.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk registers in line with corporate governance standards.
- Coordinate activities across infrastructure, network, cloud, and application teams to ensure cohesive execution.
- Manage third-party vendors and service providers to deliver against contractual commitments and technical requirements.
- Oversee the decommissioning and migration of legacy infrastructure, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Contribute to the development of long-term data centre and infrastructure strategies in alignment with organisational goals.
- Senior PM with proven experience managing technical infrastructure or data centre transformation projects.
- Demonstrated success in delivering data centre migrations, consolidations, or hybrid/cloud transition programmes.
- Strong technical understanding of servers, storage, networking, virtualisation, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience working within structured governance frameworks and managing complex stakeholder environments.
- Solid grasp of ITIL processes, service transition, and change management best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, or Smartsheet.
- Professional certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile Scrum Master) preferred.
