World Wide Technology (WWT), a global technology integrator and IT solutions provider, has an opportunity for a Portfolio Manager. This role is part of WWT’s Strategic Resourcing services and is a contract role. The candidate will be supporting a WWT customer and will be employed by one of WWT’s preferred partners.

Contract Duration: 6 months
Contract Location: London, UK
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all projects and programs support long‑term organizational goals and priorities.
- Identify opportunities to optimize delivery, enhance value, or create efficiencies across multiple workstreams.
- Develop, implement, and maintain the portfolio governance and control structure.
- Drive consistency in project delivery approaches across the organization.
- Coach and support allocated project resources, ensuring effective utilization.
- Resolve resource conflicts and promote collaboration across delivery teams.
- Track portfolio‑wide progress, budgets, milestones, risks, and benefits.
- Provide regular and accurate status reports and insights to senior leadership.
- Establish and enforce governance frameworks ensuring adherence to policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Support quality, audit, and compliance needs across the portfolio.
- Collaborate with internal PMO, client teams, and other stakeholders to manage expectations.
- Facilitate decision‑making and alignment across project and program leaders.
- Identify, assess, and manage portfolio‑level risks, dependencies, and issues.
- Lead, coordinate, and communicate escalations end‑to‑end.
- Facilitate root‑cause analysis and drive improvements across processes and delivery practices.
- Monitor and analyze portfolio financials, identifying anomalies and issues.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in project or program management, with portfolio‑level oversight.
- Minimum 5 years’ Professional Services experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in portfolio management tools, PMO frameworks, and methodologies (e.g., Agile, PRINCE2, PMI).
- Strong analytical and decision‑making capabilities with the ability to interpret complex data.
- High attention to detail, proactive mindset, and problem‑solving creativity.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in complex environments.
Candidates will be required to go through background checks before commencing contract. Must be eligible to live and work in the specified work location. Some occasional travel may be required. Only successful candidates will be contacted.
