World Wide Technology (WWT), a global technology integrator and IT solutions provider, has an opportunity for a Network Architect. This is a contract role inside IR35.
Contract Duration: 6 months
Location: United Kingdom (Remote)
Role Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Network Architect to support the TMRF Metal Uplift 2025 program, which includes critical streams such as Core Networks (LAN / WAN / DC / DDI), Network Functions (Security Platforms like firewalls and Multi-Factor Authentication), and Network Endpoint Connectivity. You will provide architectural leadership across legacy modernization, infrastructure uplift, and integration of voice, data, and application services such as Load Balancer platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide architectural guidance and solution design across the following workstreams:
- DDI (Core Networks) – DNS/DHCP/IPAM uplift
- Network Functions– Security functions and network services
- Endpoint Connectivity – Hardware and software integrations, cross-functional delivery
- Contact Centre and IVR systems and integration strategies
- Call Recording deployment alignment and failover design
- Load Balancer architecture, including HA, routing policies, and application awareness
Essential Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of network architecture experience in large, regulated enterprise environments.
- Deep knowledge of:
- Core IP networking (routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, IPAM) – Essential
- Enterprise-grade Load Balancers (e.g., F5, Citrix ADC) – Essential
- Contact Center platforms – Beneficial
- Telephony and IVR architectures – Beneficial
Desirable
- Experience with test resiliency, or similar uplift initiatives.
- Exposure to automated test frameworks, scripting (Python, Ansible), and telemetry.
- Understanding of cloud-based networking and hybrid infrastructure.
