About The European Services Sales Team

The World Wide Technology European Services Sales Team is rapidly expanding, and we are growing our services selling team. Our focus is on delivering best‑in‑class technology solutions to Tier‑1 Global Financial companies. If you have a proven track record of success in services or consulting sales, we want to hear from you.

Job Summary

We are looking for an accomplished and commercially minded Senior Client Services Consultant to join WWT’s rapidly expanding European Services Sales team. With demonstrable experience in consultative technology sales, you will be an integral part of a collaborative sales team focused on driving services revenue growth across a portfolio of Tier‑1 Global Financial Services clients. Working closely with Client Executives and account managers, you will help position and develop compelling technology services solutions, contribute to winning proposals, and support the end‑to‑end pre‑sales process. A typical week will balance client‑facing engagements and workshops, collaboration with OEM partners, and joint pursuit management activities with the wider sales team. This is a team‑oriented role where your success is built through strong internal relationships as much as client‑facing ones. You will gain clear exposure to some of the most complex technology initiatives in the financial services sector, spanning infrastructure modernisation, hybrid cloud, cybersecurity, resilience, and regulatory compliance.

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Account and Client Leadership: Work alongside Client Executives and account managers to position compelling services and programmatic solutions, contributing to high‑quality proposals aligned with client strategies, priorities, and commercial options. Support the development of client relationships with senior management, working as part of the account team to build trust‑based partnerships that enable proactive opportunity development.
  • Pursuit Development and Commercial Execution: Actively contribute to services pursuit activity across assigned accounts, working in close partnership with the sales team to progress opportunities and help achieve shared services sales goals. Develop a thorough understanding of WWT’s repeatable services plays, working with the account team to identify and create demand for them within assigned accounts. In partnership with Client Executives and account managers, identify and qualify services opportunities—helping to expand the services portfolio and grow revenue within assigned accounts. Support the development of accurate and detailed service scopes that mitigate scope creep and cost overruns, ensuring pricing, hours, and travel meet WWT standards.
  • Go‑to‑Market and Portfolio Development: Stay current on industry trends and share regular insights with the wider sales and services team on emerging target areas and solution approaches. Work alongside OEM services teams and account managers to raise awareness of WWT’s services portfolio and identify joint opportunities within assigned service areas.
  • Collaboration and Enablement: Work as an active and contributing member of the account team, collaborating with Client Executives, technical owners, and Professional Services teams to develop strategic, client‑specific solutions. Coordinate across cross‑functional teams—including Service Delivery, internal IT practices, external partners, and account management—to ensure alignment and smooth progression of pursuits. Champion WWT’s core values and corporate goals in all daily activities.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Solid and progressive experience in technology services sales, consultative sales, or pre‑sales consulting roles. Demonstrated track record of carrying and achieving a services sales quota. Proven experience selling complex technology solutions to large enterprise clients, with exposure to Tier‑1 Global Financial Services institutions—including investment banks, retail and commercial banks, and payment network providers—highly desirable. Hands‑on experience supporting complex infrastructure modernisation, hybrid cloud, cybersecurity, resilience, or regulatory compliance initiatives. Experience developing SOWs, pricing models, and commercial proposals for technology services engagements. Prior experience in programmatic services delivery is preferred—candidates who have worked within or alongside delivery teams on structured, repeatable service programmes will be at a distinct advantage.
  • Technical Knowledge: Expertise in one or more of the following domains is required: technology infrastructure (e.g., end‑user computing, data centres, enterprise networks), cybersecurity and resilience, emerging technologies (e.g., hybrid cloud, AI, automation), enterprise architecture.
  • Skills And Abilities: Good commercial acumen with the ability to contribute to deal shaping and commercial discussions, with a working knowledge of programmatic constructs and contracting methods (e.g., SOWs, RFI, RFQ, RFP). Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including creation and delivery of compelling proposals and presentations. Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, collaborative, knowledge‑focused organisation. Emotional intelligence to navigate complex client relationships and challenging commercial discussions.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Sciences, Business, or a related field (preferred). A combination of education, training, and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
