Job Summary
The Senior Advisor is a business‑outcome–focused consulting leader within WWT Engineering Services. You will shape and win opportunities alongside the Principal Advisor and Sales, then ensure delivery excellence by guiding engineering and architecture teams to execute against clearly defined outcomes, scope, and success measures. The role blends presales leadership, solution design, delivery governance, and practice development to drive transformational results across technology and organisational change.
Key Responsibilities
- Presales & Solution Leadership: Lead customer discovery, outcome definition, and value hypothesis shaping; translate business drivers into feasible architectures, delivery approaches, and investment cases (TCO/ROI), working in lock‑step with the Principal Advisor. Orchestrate solution strategy, estimates, risk and dependency analysis, and the creation of SoWs/proposals with clear scope, deliverables, and acceptance criteria; ensure proposals balance customer value with delivery and commercial risk. Facilitate workshops, PoVs/PoCs, and ATC‑enabled evaluations to evidence approach and de‑risk decisions prior to commitment.
- Delivery Excellence & Governance: Provide day‑to‑day solution ownership during execution, ensuring fidelity to the sold intent and measurable outcomes; partner through the Two‑in‑the‑Box model with PMO for planning, RAID management, change control, and stakeholder comms. Guide architects and engineers across discovery, design, build, transition, and operate phases; ensure methodical hand‑offs, quality, and standards adherence. Maintain continuity from presales to delivery by supporting or deputising the Principal Advisor as needed to preserve context and reduce delivery risk.
- Business‑Outcome Solutioning for Technology & Organisational Transformation: Shape target operating models, capability roadmaps, and transformation backlogs that span people, process, technology, and data; align solution increments and milestones to business KPIs. Advise on change enablement (communications, training, adoption) to accelerate time‑to‑value and sustain outcomes beyond go‑live.
- Practice Development & Reuse: Contribute to ES&A offerings, methods, templates, and accelerators; convert bespoke engagement work into reusable artefacts and collateral. Mentor consultants, architects, and engineers; uplift presales discipline inside ES and raise delivery maturity through coaching and reviews.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, TD&E, PMO, Regional Management, and other delivery verticals to ensure coherent.
