Position Overview:
The Solution Architect identifies, shapes, and closes new business opportunities by leveraging competitive intelligence, business requirements, cost estimates, and solution options across business and technology services and industries. They decide which technologies and capabilities are best suited to a client's needs, based on deep conversation. The Solution Architect is responsible for building a collaborative approach across sales and delivery teams. They drive alignment to structure deals and drive the best outcome for the customer, WWT, and our partners. By leveraging their expertise, Solution Architects mitigate risks, articulate the inherent value of WWT services, and fortify client relationships. They work closely with clients, project managers, and delivery teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects. Work is accomplished with moderate supervision. Follows established and detailed directions. Work is reviewed for accuracy and overall adequacy. Up to 25% travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the strategic design of innovative infrastructure-based (Data Center, Digital Workspace, Networking, and Mobility) solutions by leveraging deep knowledge of the evolving technology landscape and maximising internal WWT capabilities.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, adeptly understanding their unique needs and crafting tailored recommendations that drive value and foster long-term partnerships.
- Champion the integration of WWT's diverse portfolio of offerings, introducing and promoting cross-business services to enrich client engagements and expand WWT's market presence.
