World Wide Technology (WWT), a global technology integrator and IT solutions provider, has an opportunity for a Data Center Infrastructure Specialist to help design, plan, and deliver large-scale AI infrastructure deployments. This role sits at the heart of high-density data centers, combining infrastructure design, cabling strategy, and deployment readiness to enable powerful AI clusters.
This is a contract role inside IR35 with a duration of 6 months initially.
What we’re looking for:
- Strong experience in data center infrastructure design and deployment
- Proven ability to create floor plans, rack elevations, and capacity simulations
- Deep understanding of structured cabling in large-scale data centers
- Experience producing point-to-point connectivity and deployment documentation
- Knowledge of power, cooling, and networking considerations for high-density environments
- Comfortable working across design, deployment, and operations teams
- Detail-oriented, methodical, and able to work to tight deployment timelines
Candidates will be required to go through background checks before commencing the contract. Must be an EU Citizen. Some occasional travel may be required. Only successful candidates will be contacted.
