Overview
As Area Director, you will lead strategic initiatives to maximize gross profit, accelerate value delivery, and strengthen regional performance within WWT. You will align sales, services and OEM partnerships, driving data-informed decisions and continuous improvement. You’ll shape staffing, forecasting, and stakeholder management to sustain high-performance teams. This role offers impact through leading cross-functional efforts and leveraging WWT’s Advanced Technology Center to position the company as a premier partner.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop high-performing sales teams and maintain key customer relationships with customers, OEMs and partners
- Position and promote WWT’s value proposition to drive opportunities and existing accounts
- Develop staffing plans to ensure successful delivery of services and act as escalation focal for Professional Services in the region
- Monitor and improve financial performance of services, aiming to maximize gross profit
- Provide vision, strategic planning, and management support to the team; ensure regular financial and operational reporting
- Drive process improvements and identify new opportunities through cross-functional collaboration and data-driven governance
- Foster a positive, values-driven team culture and uphold core values to support high performance
Key requirements
- Minimum 10 years’ progressive experience in a related field
- Previous management experience with direct and indirect reports and prior selling experience of IT hardware and solutions
- Experience with multiple OEM products (e.g., Cisco, Dell) and account management
- Experience thriving under quota and commission structures and strong leadership experience
- Proven ability to lead strategic initiatives and engage cross-functional stakeholders
