IT Infrastructure Architect - Remote / Hybrid

This is a contract Role & Inside IR35 Network Architect Contract Duration : 6 months! Location: United Kingdom (Remote) We are seeking a seasoned Network Architect to support the TMRF Metal Uplift 2025 program , which includes critical streams such as Core Networks (LAN / WAN / DC / DDI), Network Functions (Security Platforms like firewalls and Multi-Factor Authentication), Network Endpoint Connectivity . You will provide architectural leadership across legacy modernization, infrastructure uplift, and integration of voice, data, and application services such as Load Balancer platforms. DDI (Core Networks) – DNS/DHCP/IPAM uplift Network Functions – Security functions and network services Endpoint Connectivity – Hardware and software integrations, cross-functional delivery Lead design and solution workshops with stakeholders across the UK, EMEA, and APAC regions. Deliver network architecture artifacts, including high-level and low-level designs. Define and validate test cases for new builds, upgrades, and platform retirements. Contact Centre and IVR systems and integration strategies Call Recording deployment alignment and failover design Load Balancer architecture , including HA, routing policies, and application awareness Work closely with engineering and operations teams for seamless build, config, and testing phases. Contribute to documentation and knowledge transfer for long-term supportability. 10+ years of network architecture experience in large, regulated enterprise environments. ~ Core IP networking (routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, IPAM) – Essential ~ Contact Center platforms – Beneficial ~ Experience supporting multi-region implementations with cross-site HA and DR. ~ Proven experience delivering in program-led transformation efforts . ~ Exposure to automated test frameworks , scripting (Python, Ansible), and telemetry. Understanding of cloud-based networking and hybrid infrastructure.
