This is a contract role inside IR35 with a duration of 6 months, located in Glasgow, United Kingdom (Onsite).
Engineer will support Platform Health workstream, focusing on Azure GA readiness and Gold Dev milestones, with emphasis on observability, automation, and secure cloud architecture.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement SLOs/SLIs across user, application, and infrastructure layers
- Build Azure platform health solutions using Terraform (IaC)
- Develop Python-based automation, integrations, and webhook handlers
- Work with Azure services: Service Health, Resource Graph, Log Analytics, Logic Apps, Storage Tables, Private Endpoints
- Implement observability solutions (Grafana, alerting, synthetic monitoring)
- Build event-driven integrations (Kafka, Splunk, REST APIs)
- Apply cloud security best practices (RBAC, CMK, encryption, Private Endpoints)
- Collaborate with stakeholders
- Terraform (production-level IaC)
- Python development for automation and integrations
- SLO/SLI design & observability tools (Grafana, ThousandEyes/APICA)
- Event-driven architecture & API integrations
