World Wide Technology (WWT) is a global technology integrator and supply chain solutions provider. Through our culture of innovation, we inspire, build, and deliver business results, from idea to outcome. World Wide Technology EMEA has an opportunity available for an experienced DevOps Engineer to assist with a big data transformation program. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and migrating a host of application suites to a Kubernetes infrastructure environment.
Skillset:
- Strong Kubernetes experience, including implementation, architecture, and hands-on migration
- K8S, Spark, S3 Engine, Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD, Hadoop
- Linux / RHEL – on-prem background / container management
- Grafana or Elastic Search – for observability
- Kubernetes security
Nice to have:
- Observability – Open telemetry
- Argo
Candidates will be required to go through background checks before commencing the contract. Must be an EU Citizen. Some occasional travel may be required. Only successful candidates will be contacted.
