With extensive and demonstrable experience in technology services sales and client leadership, you will own and grow a portfolio of Tier-1 Global Financial Services accounts, positioning WWT as the premier technology services partner of choice. As a Client Services Executive you will define the services sales strategy for your accounts, lead complex multi-million dollar pursuits from qualification through to contract, and build enduring C-suite relationships. You will operate as a trusted advisor to client leadership teams, shaping transformational programmes spanning infrastructure modernisation, hybrid cloud, cybersecurity, resilience, and regulatory compliance. This is a senior individual contributor role offering significant autonomy and commercial ownership. You will work in close partnership with Client Managers, Global Account Executives, and WWT's Professional Services organisation to deliver best-in-class outcomes for clients and industry-leading commercial results for WWT.
Responsibilities
- Own and drive the services sales strategy for a defined portfolio of Tier-1 Global Financial Services accounts, setting the vision for long-term growth and profitability.
- Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with C-suite and senior decision-making leaders, leveraging and expanding your external network to identify and develop new services opportunities.
- Lead strategic discussions with client leadership, constructively challenging the status quo and presenting innovative, high-value services approaches.
- Develop and execute joint pursuit plans with Client Managers and Global Account Executives, aligning services sales strategy with the overall account relationship.
- Own full commercial responsibility for services pursuits from lead qualification through to contract close, consistently achieving and exceeding quota.
- Develop a thorough understanding of WWT's repeatable services plays, leveraging them strategically to drive demand and scale engagement across your account portfolio.
- Identify, qualify, and lead pursuit of high-value services opportunities across your portfolio, driving revenue growth and expanding WWT's services footprint.
- Lead multi-disciplinary pursuit teams, negotiating complex, multi-million dollar statements of work and commercial structures directly with senior client stakeholders.
- Identify whitespace, define go-to-market strategies, and close expansion opportunities across WWT's full services portfolio – including Professional Services, Managed Services, and Advisory.
- Collaborate with WWT's Practice, Delivery, and Engineering leaders to develop and position new and differentiated service offerings.
- Represent WWT's services capabilities to OEM and ecosystem partners, strengthening co-sell motions and joint solution development.
- Mentor and coach team members, sharing expertise and raising the capability of the broader team.
- Drive the adoption of management consulting practices and structured pursuit methodologies across the wider WWT European Services Sales team.
- Champion WWT's core values, corporate goals, and cultural principles in all activities, setting the standard for the team.
- Provide regular market insight and competitive intelligence to leadership, informing services strategy and investment priorities.
Qualifications
- Extensive and demonstrable years of progressive experience in technology services sales, consultative sales, or senior pre-sales leadership roles, with a consistent track record of achieving and exceeding a multi-million dollar quota.
- Proven experience selling complex technology services to Tier-1 Global Financial Services institutions – including investment banks, retail and commercial banks, and payment network providers – with deep familiarity with their infrastructure modernisation, hybrid cloud, cybersecurity, resilience, and regulatory compliance priorities.
- Experience developing and owning programmatic client constructs, including SOWs, managed service agreements, multi-year contracts, and framework agreements.
- Prior experience in programmatic services delivery is preferred – candidates who have worked within or alongside delivery teams on structured, repeatable service programmes will be at a distinct advantage.
Technical Knowledge
- Technology infrastructure (e.g., end-user computing, data centres, enterprise networks, infrastructure modernisation).
- Cybersecurity and resilience (including regulatory compliance frameworks relevant to financial services).
- Emerging technologies (e.g., hybrid cloud, AI, automation, AIOps).
- Enterprise architecture and advisory consulting.
Skills and Abilities
- Exceptional commercial acumen with the ability to shape, structure, and negotiate complex multi-million dollar deals, with mastery of programmatic constructs and contracting methods (SOWs, RFI, RFQ, RFP, managed service agreements, framework contracts).
- Executive presence and outstanding communication skills, with a proven ability to create and deliver compelling executive-level proposals, business cases, and presentations.
- Strategic thinking capability, with the ability to translate client business priorities into differentiated, commercially compelling services solutions.
- Emotional intelligence and gravitas to lead complex, multi-stakeholder client relationships and navigate sensitive commercial and organisational dynamics.
- Deep understanding of the financial services sector, including its regulatory landscape, commercial pressures, and technology transformation imperatives.
