World Wide Generation and the G17Eco Platform is a sustainability fintech company operating across the UK, Europe, Singapore/ASEAN, the UAE and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) markets. We have major partners such as Singapore Stock Exchange, Kyndryl, World Wide Technology, and Etisalat to roll out G17Eco, making it the world's first global sustainability data, finance and solutions exchange. WWG has secured a Joint Venture with major KSA Conglomerate Rawabi Holding to streamline and standardise sustainability reporting across the region.
The G17Eco Platform offers an end-to-end sustainability as a service including sustainability education and advisory, digital reporting tools, a centre of excellence for digital transformation and performance improvement, and a solutions and finance rewards marketplace. The mission of G17Eco is to accelerate the financing and delivery of the SDGs by 2030.
The Solutions Director plays a pivotal role in shaping and delivering commercially sound, strategically aligned solutions to clients and partners globally. This role acts as a cross-functional bridge between Business Development, Technology, Sustainability, Success, and Finance teams, ensuring that the companyβs offers and operations are scalable, structured, and competitive.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Proposal & Bid Management
- Lead the development of complex RFP and RFI responses, coordinating input across BD, Tech, Sustainability, Finance, and Customer Success plus external partners.
- Construct commercially viable solutions, detailed budgets, and delivery plans.
- Ensure alignment between proposal content, pricing, and company strategy.
- Develop and maintain tools and templates to reduce response time and improve quality.
- Explore and implement tools to streamline response preparation.
- Commercial & Strategic Support
- Partner with Business Development to assess and shape mainstream proposals, ensuring commercial viability and long-term value for the business.
- Provide guidance to regional teams and partners on scalable, repeatable solutions.
- Product & Pricing Evolution
- Maintain and enhance the product and pricing matrix, incorporating new product developments and client feedback.
- Identify opportunities for upsell, product bundling, and revenue optimisation.
- Support tracking of actual product costs and profitability analysis to inform pricing strategies.
- Partner Enablement
- Collaborate with BD to evolve sales delivery partner playbooks, ensuring an efficient, consistent GTM approach.
- Track performance and continuously iterate on tools, messaging, and processes.
- Operational Excellence
- Lead cross-functional internal projects to streamline operations, improve workflows, and increase commercial effectiveness.
- Build and maintain scalable systems and processes to support company growth.
- Project Leadership
- Lead or co-lead strategic internal initiatives such as new product launches, major client onboarding, and solution architecture reviews.
- Drive internal initiatives requiring structured, pragmatic, and commercially astute leadership.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 8β10 years of experience in SaaS/software, with demonstrable success in commercial, strategic, and project delivery roles.
- Strong experience managing and responding to global RFPs/RFIs and working across multiple teams and time zones.
- Strong ability to distill complex, multi-stakeholder inputs into coherent, actionable project plans or commercial offers.
- Proven commercial acumen with budgeting, pricing strategy, and project planning capabilities.
- Exceptional cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with working with product teams and the development of scalable delivery models.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguous or evolving client needs, with the ability to create clarity and structure.
- Fluent in structured thinking, with an ability to move from vision to execution.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to produce compelling content for internal and external audiences.
Desirable:
- A strong personal interest in sustainability and sustainable business practices.
- Prior experience in or exposure to ESG/sustainability-focused software or consulting.
- Demonstrated ability to lead change and process improvement in a scale-up or high-growth environment.
- Experience supporting strategic partnerships and/or JV structures in global contexts.
- Knowledge of partner/channel sales strategies and enablement tools.
- Familiarity with Salesforce and Vanta.
- Ability to travel occasionally for key meetings, workshops, or partner engagements.
