Here’s where you come in: Reporting to the Sr. Director for Global Risk & Compliance, the Senior Advisor, Enterprise Risk Management will provide technical leadership and strategic guidance for Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) across the Partnership. This is done by championing ERM as a value-add discipline, partnering with leaders across the enterprise to perform risk assessments, and by acting as a subject matter expert to risk managers throughout World Vision. This will include maintaining and ensuring all entities understand and align with the organisation’s risk management standards, governance methodology, policies, processes and tools.

You will contribute to the achievement of World Vision’s objectives by promoting a culture that recognises the importance of understanding and managing risk effectively. You will ensure that appropriate risk assessment methodologies are in place, and mitigation strategies are aligned with WV’s objectives and industry best practices.

Requirements include:

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of work experience in the field of Enterprise Risk Management, or a related discipline of risk management.
  • Experience engaging and influencing diverse groups of senior leaders both in writing and as a presenter.
  • Seasoned professional with well-developed leadership and verbal presentation and meeting facilitation skills.
  • Experience in developing and implementing strategies that produce results.
  • Knowledge and experience in setting strategic goals, measures of success and priorities.
  • Knowledge and experience in risk management methodologies, standards and tools in other organisations.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English.
