We are looking for someone to lead the Faith at Work offering, including coordinating key events for staff. This is an exciting time to join the team, with several strategic initiatives underway. With 75 years of experience, the focus is on helping the most vulnerable children overcome poverty and experience fullness of life. Hours: Part time, 2 days per week 15 hours
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £30,874.00 pro rata

About the Role
- Coordinate and host weekly staff devotions.
- Coordinate and support Small Group Leaders and Prayer Ministry Team.
- Oversee the running of regular prayer meetings, such as Be Still.
- Build relationships with external speakers, venues and suppliers.
- Create content and lead at key events, i.e. day of prayer and weekly devotions.
- Organise ad-hoc opportunities for prayer as and when new situations arise.
- Manage the planning and implementation of the Day of Prayer in collaboration with staff from across the charity, and UK-based staff internationally.
- Manage the planning and implementation of other key events such as the Christmas Carol service and other moments in the Christian Calendar (e.g. Lent, Easter, Advent, etc).
- Engage with the international Global Centre Faith and Development Leads to ensure that the UK’s approach is in line with partnership priorities.
- Maintain the Faith at Work pages on the staff intranet (SharePoint), keeping content up to date and relevant.
- Support the Head of People & Culture on specific projects including the roll out of the Mission Immersion Programme to new and existing staff.
About You
You will have the relevant skills and experience to carry out the role. Christian identity underpins everything the charity does, so as an active Christian, this role offers you the opportunity to integrate your Christian faith and be sensitive to its various expressions across cultures and denominations. Please note the organisation can only consider applicants who presently have the right to work in the UK and all candidates must be personally committed to the Christian faith and be able to respect, uphold and work within our client’s Christian mission, values, culture and faith statements. This individual will represent and speak on behalf of a Christian charity and as such the Occupational Requirement for an active Christian faith is justified under the Equality Act 2010 Schedule 9, Part 1, clause 3. As we are unable to sponsor this role, you MUST be holding the Right to Work documentation for the UK to be considered.
