Here’s where you come in:
As the Chief People Officer for World Vision UK (WVUK) , you will use your extensive people leadership skills, knowledge and experience to lead the delivery of the organisation’s Thriving People strategy, by maximising the potential of WVUK’s human resources and optimising organisational performance, sustaining the culture and ensuring alignment to fulfil WVUK’s strategy. Your overall organisational portfolio will consist of providing leadership to HR, Learning and Organisational Development, Safeguarding, Payroll services and Faith at work functions.
As a member of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), you will contribute to the development and implementation of World Vision UK’s strategy.
Requirements include:
- Graduate level qualification (or equivalent) in Human Resources Management/Development, Business Leadership, or related fields or demonstrable evidence of continued professional development and accreditation
- At least 10-15 years’ HR experience, both at operational and managerial level, with the last 7-8 years’ at a strategic level
- Demonstrable experience of developing and successfully delivering HR Strategy and plans that are integrated into and support the overall business strategy
- Considerable experience of providing strategic HR leadership and expertise to support organisational change programmes
- Considerable experience of delivering HR advice and guidance to senior leaders on people-related matters and the capability to understand and navigate competing needs of the business and employees in delivering HR strategy and policy
- The ability to develop and deliver solutions across a full range of HR disciplines including total rewards, talent development and retention, resourcing and recruitment, employee engagement, employee data, employee relations, and HR operations service delivery
- Experience of providing advice on UK employment law matters impacting the organisation, compliance and best practice
