Be part of a transformational IT project. World Vision UK is currently delivering one of its most significant IT transformation projects in decades. We are implementing Microsoft Dynamics CRM, a new system that will help us improve how we work, support our teams and raise more than £55 million each year for children growing up in some of the world’s most difficult circumstances.

As IT Project Assistant, you will play an important supporting role in helping the project run smoothly. Working alongside the Project Manager, developers and colleagues across the organisation, you will help create clear documentation, support system testing, prepare training materials and maintain accurate project records.

What you will be doing:

  • Creating clear documents, process flows and diagrams from project information and meeting notes.
  • Supporting system testing by following test scripts, recording results accurately and helping with quality checks.
  • Preparing user guides, training materials and other project resources.
  • Keeping accurate records, inventories and project lists.
  • Managing version control across complex sets of documents.
  • Helping colleagues understand and adapt to the new Microsoft Dynamics CRM system.
  • Supporting other project or IT service activities as required.

About you:

You do not need to have previous charity sector experience or direct experience of working on structured IT projects, although either would be helpful. We are also keen to hear from recent graduates with a relevant degree, such as information systems, business or a related discipline, who are looking for an opportunity to learn, contribute and make an impact.

To succeed in this role:

  • You will need to be organised, accurate and confident managing your own time.
  • You will have strong written communication skills, good attention to detail and the ability to follow written procedures carefully.
  • You will also be clear and honest when communicating progress, asking questions or flagging any delays.
  • We are looking for someone who can use Microsoft Office confidently, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
  • Write clearly, accurately and with care.
  • Absorb information quickly and turn it into useful summaries, documents or diagrams.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues who have different levels of IT knowledge.
  • Stay calm, patient and focused while working to deadlines.
  • Check work carefully and maintain high standards of accuracy.

This role is based at our Milton Keynes office. You will need to work from the office for a minimum of 3 days per week, with the option to work from home for the remaining 1 or 2 days.

Closing Date for applications: 3rd September 2026. We reserve the right to interview candidates and close the advert ahead of the closing date should a strong candidate be identified.

Please note that you MUST be holding the Right to work in the UK documentation as unfortunately this role is not sponsored.
