About the role
Reporting to the Head of Product and Commercial, the Product Executive will work closely with a portfolio of cruise suppliers to secure competitive and engaging cruise products and offers for use across all marketing channels. The role will focus on creating compelling packages, negotiating exclusive rates, and collaborating with the Sales, Marketing, and Training teams to maximise commercial performance. You will also partner closely with the Marketing team to ensure product accuracy and a seamless customer journey across our websites.
What you will be doing:
- Support the delivery of marketing plans aligned with business priorities, cruise line campaigns, and promotional activity.
- Develop and deliver competitive, commercially focused cruise products across all website and marketing channels, ensuring accuracy at all times.
- Analyse business and supplier performance to identify key opportunities, trends, and areas of focus.
- Conduct regular competitor analysis to maintain competitive pricing, product positioning, and promotional activity.
- Work closely with cruise suppliers to source and negotiate cruise deals, including exclusive offers and net rate opportunities.
- Regularly review land and air product opportunities to complement key cruise offers and enhance package value.
- Obtain and manage weekly pricing and availability updates from cruise lines, ensuring all website content remains accurate and up to date.
- Continuously review the customer journey and website functionality, escalating issues to relevant internal teams or external partners where required.
- Ensure new product launches and sales campaigns are delivered efficiently, with strong planning and speed to market.
- Create unique and engaging fly‑cruise, cruise‑and‑stay, and bespoke package offers.
- Maintain a strong understanding of cruise line campaigns, promotions, and systems, coordinating information across departments to support product knowledge and sales success.
- Proactively work with third‑party data suppliers to ensure pricing and product feeds remain accurate and reliable.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Web Development teams on website improvements, optimisation, and process enhancements.
- Deliver engaging weekly pre‑shift briefs to the Sales Concierge team, providing key updates, campaign highlights, and relevant product information.
- Manage support hub tickets and queries as required.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties appropriate to the role and skill set.
Skills and experience:
- Experience within a Product role in the travel industry, ideally within the cruise sector.
- Strong geographical knowledge and understanding of key global destinations.
- Ability to work proactively in a fast‑paced environment, managing multiple priorities and tight deadlines whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- A collaborative team player with the ability to build strong internal and external relationships.
- Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to adapt and make decisions confidently.
