The Corporate Communications & PR Manager will lead WTT's corporate and trade communications strategy from its global headquarters in Singapore, supporting the organisation's next phase of growth. As WTT evolves into a more structured, commercially driven global sports platform, this role will be responsible for strengthening organisational reputation, shaping industry perception, and positioning WTT leadership with clarity and credibility.

Working closely with the PR & Marketing and Commercial team, and in collaboration with the CEO and senior leadership, the role will bridge corporate governance messaging and trade / B2B communications — ensuring WTT is perceived as a professionally run, strategically aligned, and commercially credible global sports entity. This is a strategic communications role with global scope, operating in a fast-paced, international sports environment, and engaging stakeholders across Asia, Europe, and beyond.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS
    • Develop and execute WTT's corporate communications strategy
    • Draft executive messaging, speeches, Board updates, and strategic announcements
    • Lead corporate press releases related to governance, structural updates, and strategic initiatives
    • Establish and maintain crisis communications frameworks and escalation protocols
    • Work closely with HR on internal communications and employer brand messaging
    • Monitor media sentiment and identify reputational risks
  • TRADE / B2B COMMUNICATIONS
    • Build and manage relationships with sports business and trade media locally and internationally
    • Secure executive interviews and thought leadership opportunities
    • Develop commercial case studies and industry-facing narratives
    • Support executive participation in conferences and industry forums
    • Align messaging with Commercial team priorities and growth objectives
  • EXECUTIVE & STAKEHOLDER COMMUNICATIONS
    • Provide communications counsel to CEO and senior leadership
    • Prepare briefing notes, Q&A documents, and key message frameworks
    • Support high-level stakeholder engagements and sensitive communications
  • CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COMMUNICATIONS
    • Partner closely with: Commercial & Partnerships, Events, Broadcast, Talent & Resource
    • Ensure corporate messaging complements consumer brand storytelling led by WTT PR & Marketing

REQUIREMENTS

ESSENTIALS:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communications, Communications & Media Studies, Public Relations, Business Management, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • 6–10 years of relevant experience in corporate communications, trade PR, sports business communications, or agency-side corporate PR.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting senior executives or C-suite communications.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce clear, polished, executive-level communications.
  • Strong understanding of B2B communications strategy.
  • Ability to translate complex organisational developments into clear, compelling narratives.
  • Strong media relationship management skills, particularly across trade and business press.
  • High emotional intelligence and stakeholder sensitivity.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills.
  • Ability to operate independently in a lean team environment.
  • Calm, measured and professional under pressure.
  • Commercially aware and strategically minded.
  • Disciplined, discreet and professionally mature.
  • Confident in advising senior leadership.
  • Globally aware and culturally sensitive.
  • Comfortable working across time zones and international markets.
