Women’s Rugby World Cup England 2025 (Women’s RWC 2025) will be the 10th edition of the women's tournament. World Rugby, in partnership with the Rugby Football Union (RFU) and UK Sport, have formed a Local Operating Company to plan and deliver the event. Ambitions for the tournament are at an all-time high as women’s rugby is one of the fastest growing team sports in the world. Women’s RWC 2025 will be the ultimate stage for the best players, teams and coaches from 16 nations across the globe and is set to be the biggest and most widely watched women's rugby event ever. The Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025 Local Organising Committee (LOC) wishes to appoint x2 RWC 2025 Commercial Operations Venue Assistant for each cluster of venues for Women’s Rugby World Cup England 2025. The Commercial Deputy Assistant will be a supporting member of the tournament-time delivery team and help ensure that the Commercial Rights of the various RWC 2025 Commercial Stakeholders are delivered at their venue. Their daily task management will be led by the Commercial Venue Manager. They will be joined onsite by a Commercial Deputy Venue Manager.

- Northampton – start date 23/08/2025 – 07/09/2025 (7 days)
All Commercial Deputy Assistants will be required to attend a 2 day training workshop prior to the tournament. The training will take place in Twickenham on 4th and 5th August and further details will be shared closer to the time.
What you’ll be doing:
The Commercial Operations team are responsible for delivering all the rights (contractual and otherwise agreed). This includes the following non-exhaustive list of in-stadia requirements:
- Branding & signage (pitch-side, outlets and other areas);
- In-venue sponsor activities (activations, promotions, give-aways, prizes, product placements, etc.);
- In-venue retail;
- Accreditation;
- Parking;
- Venue Access (vehicle & human);
- Stakeholder commercial compliance;
- Match-day run sheets;
Experience & knowledge you’ll need:
- Understanding of quality client service
- Ability to build strong and authentic working relationships
- All applicants must have a current and valid right to work in the UK
Nice to Haves:
- Experience in venue and event operations
- Experience working with a range of stakeholders
- Ability to operate in a dynamic working environment, handling multiple tasks within a multicultural environment
- IT literate, with a good knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
- Valid Drivers License

Please note that RWC25 will carry out the sourcing, interviewing, selection and offer stages of this recruitment process. Should you be successful for the role, please note that onboarding, engaging and payrolling will be handled by a third party. Accordingly, if you are successful for the role, you will need to enter into a contract for services as a PAYE worker (or limited company contractor) with this third party.
