We’re looking for a Territory Sales Manager to join our fantastic Field Sales Team who are based all over the UK. With this role there are achievable targets which could see you earn an OTE of up to £38,000. The basic is £28,665.

This role covers areas of Hertfordshire , Buckinghamshire and Berkshire so you will need to live somewhere in this region.

Responsibilities

The role is extremely customer orientated, delivering high quality executed plans by demonstrating leading edge market insight within our customer base. All this whilst also being able to develop strong relationships with our external clients. It is also key that there are strong relationships with internal departments to ensure customer needs are met.

What will our Territory Sales Manager do?

You’ll be responsible for the development of business within the geographical area outlined above, seeking to maximise territory value sales and profit by opening new ‘targeted’ outlets, as well as influencing opportunities in existing outlets to:

  • Increase depth of core range distribution via Order Delivery
  • Increase levels of products and other associated group product availability
  • Increase channels promotional distribution and quality of shelf space supported through placements of stands
  • Manage nominated local accounts to drive profitable volume
  • Use technology to drive efficient territory coverage; utilising the new World of Sweets App/Website or telesales team where appropriate

You will deliver this by managing your time effectively, combining face to face customer visits including the taking of orders and telesales whilst primarily promoting the conversion to self-serve via the WoS App/Website. We are equally looking to further expand all of our geographical areas, so it will be critical that individuals continually seek out new business opportunities.

Qualifications / The right person

Who is the right person for this Territory Sales Manager role?

We are looking for individuals who have experience of working within a similar field-based role, ideally within an FMCG setting, however this is not essential. You must however have a love for sales, driving new business and building lasting relationships with your customers.

The role is hands on and will see you managing your time between our customers sites for the majority of your week as well as being effective in your time management to give the best service possible to your customers.

Please note this role requires regular travel by car so individuals must be able to drive . A company car will be provided.
