About the Role
We’re looking for a Team Manager to lead one of our warehouse operations teams and help us keep doing what we do — brilliantly.
Responsibilities
- Leading the day-to-day running of Inbound or Outbound operations — delivering KPIs, maintaining 90%+ OTD, and keeping H&S compliance front and centre
- Directly managing 6 Team Leaders — coaching, aligning and holding them accountable
- Planning shift resources and working with our recruitment agencies to maintain the right headcount
- Partnering with the training team to ensure new starters receive an excellent onboarding experience
- Investigating people policy and H&S incidents and producing written reports
- Chairing formal meetings including disciplinary hearings where required
- Working closely with the People Team on timesheet approvals, absence management and recruitment workflows
- Championing engagement — listening to your team, resolving queries and supporting site-wide events
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years’ leadership experience in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution environment
Required Skills
- Confident resource planner with experience managing a large, diverse team
- Track record of delivering against KPIs and operational targets
- Solid understanding of Health & Safety procedures
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Preferred Skills
- WMS experience and Lean Six Sigma / IOSH / NEBOSH qualifications are a bonus — not a dealbreaker
Pay range and compensation package
Coventry-based, permanent, with a shift pattern that gives you proper time off.
