We're hiring a Logistics Co-ordinator in Coventry at World of Books. Every year, World of Books reuses or recycles over 85 million books — keeping them out of landfill and in the hands of readers around the world. Behind that operation is a logistics network that makes it all possible. We are looking for an experienced Logistics Co-ordinator to join our Coventry team and help keep it running smoothly.
What the role involves:
- You'll be the engine behind our charity collection network — planning and scheduling book collections across the UK, optimising routes, coordinating stock movement between depot hubs, and keeping our warehouse yard running safely and efficiently.
- You'll work with our Max Optra transport planning system and liaise with charity partners, haulage companies and internal teams every day.
- This is a hands-on, on-site role (based at our Coventry warehouse) covering either a 06:00–16:00 or 10:00–18:00 shift pattern.
You’ll be a great fit if you have:
- Experience in route planning and transport coordination in a B2B environment.
- Strong stakeholder management skills — across partners, contractors and internal teams.
- A solutions-focused, can-do mindset in a fast-paced operational setting.
- The flexibility to adapt when priorities change quickly.
