Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director, Government Solutions (EMEA) to lead Europe sales team in driving growth and expanding our footprint within the government sector.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in selling complex solutions to government entities, a deep understanding of government procurement processes, and exceptional leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and market penetration goals within the government sector.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key government stakeholders, understanding their needs and positioning our solutions to meet those needs.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape, informing strategic decisions.
  • Proposal Development: Oversee the development of compelling proposals and presentations that effectively communicate the value of our solutions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and customer support, to ensure alignment and drive customer success.
  • Compliance: Ensure all sales activities comply with government regulations and procurement policies.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of fuel sales experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role focused on government sales.
  • Track Record: Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and growing market share within the government sector - specifically NSPA, UK Mo D or similar European contracts.
  • Knowledge: Deep understanding of government procurement processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse sales team.
  • Communication: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
