World Fuel is seeking a Senior Supply Operations Coordinator to join our European Aviation Fuel Supply team. This role is responsible for supporting the reliable, cost-effective supply of aviation fuel across a network of airports throughout Europe. Working closely with Supply Operations Executives and Managers, you will play a key role in fuel inventory management, logistics coordination, operational planning, supplier management, and supply chain optimization. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in aviation, logistics, fuel supply, shipping, commodity operations, or transportation who is looking to take the next step in their career within a global energy and aviation organization.
What You'll Do
- Manage aviation fuel inventory levels across assigned locations.
- Coordinate fuel deliveries with suppliers, transport providers, storage operators, and airport service partners.
- Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reliability, and service levels.
- Support forecasting and planning activities across your assigned region.
- Analyze supply, inventory, and logistics data to support operational decision-making.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and logistics providers.
- Support contract performance reviews and KPI tracking.
- Help identify and resolve supply issues before they impact customers or airport operations.
- Support sustainability and SAF-related operational activities.
- Mentor and support junior team members.
- Work closely with commercial teams on new business opportunities and operational assessments.

- Advanced Microsoft Excel capability.
- Experience working with operational data, reporting, forecasting, or KPI analysis.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Proven ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and manage competing priorities.
Preferred
- Experience within aviation, airport operations, aviation fuel, energy, shipping, or commodities.
- Experience working with suppliers, logistics providers, or operational service partners.
- Knowledge of inventory management, scheduling, or supply planning.
- Additional European languages such as French, German, or Italian.
- Degree in Aviation, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
