Position Overview

World’s team brings risk management solutions to businesses and individuals. Your primary focus is identifying, prospecting, cultivating, and closing new commercial clients (small, medium, large) leveraging World’s unique niche. While your focus is selling commercial lines risk solutions, you also are empowered to help clients with personal lines insurance, employee benefits, 401(k) and related retirement solutions, and payroll and human resources outsourcing solutions. World’s investments in a broad range of solutions means you can prospect any company of any size to provide value to your client.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and cultivate new business, with a focus on commercial accounts
  • Engage in all sales and marketing tactics (with extensive corporate marketing support) to move prospects through your funnel to closing
  • Track all sales activities in HubSpot and leverage HubSpot to its fullest potential
  • Utilize World’s broad platform to bring risk management solutions to individuals and business owners.

Qualifications

  • Must have proven experience with a range of insurance solutions to bring value to clients
  • Must be willing to become each client’s trusted risk management advisor and bring the entire World platform to each client (P&C, Employee Benefits, Retirement Plans, Wholesale, and Payroll and Human Resources outsourcing services)
  • Must maintain all relevant insurance licenses from the first day of employment to be positioned to manage an existing book of business
  • It is meaningful, but not mandatory, if you have:
  • Sold commercial insurance for a top broker.
  • Used an insurance agency management software platform, like AMS360 and Epic, and have experience with a sales CRM (World uses HubSpot); and
  • Built and presented client “pitch decks” / presentations.

Compensation

As a World Insurance Producer, your compensation is tied to your effort and your performance. We offer a base salary plus commissions as well as a full suite of employee benefits, including a 401(k) match that is immediately fully vested. The base salary range for this role is $80,000 to $200,000+. The base salary depends on your experience and your ability to drive revenue. Your base salary grows as your book of business grows, with tremendous potential to significantly exceed the top of this range.
