Role Description

This is a remote Sports Writer role on a volunteer basis. The Sports Writer will be responsible for producing engaging and accurate sports-related content, including match previews, post-game reports, and breaking news stories. Additional responsibilities include producing analytical pieces, writing compelling articles on various sporting topics, and communicating effectively to connect with the audience. Writers will also collaborate with the team to ensure alignment with the platform\’s editorial standards and goals.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Sports Writing and familiarity with the sports domain, particularly football and other major sports
• Proficiency in Writing and strong Communication skills to convey engaging and accurate content
• Experience in Journalism, including article creation and reporting
• An understanding of diverse sports topics and trends is highly desirable
• Self-motivated, ability to work remotely, and meet deadlines
• Previous experience in sports media or online publishing is an advantage
