World Host Group (WHG) is currently looking for an experienced Event Marketing Manager to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing events that enhance brand awareness, generate leads, and engage customers. You will develop and manage event strategies, from industry conferences and trade shows to webinars and virtual summits. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure that events align with the company's marketing goals and drive business growth.

What you’ll do:
- Event Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement a comprehensive event marketing strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Identify key industry events, trade shows, and conferences that align with company goals.
- Plan and execute proprietary and sponsored events, including virtual, hybrid, and in-person formats.
- Collaborate with sales, product, and content teams to ensure events support lead generation and brand positioning.
- Event Execution & Management
- Manage event logistics, including booth design, sponsorships, travel, and on-site execution.
- Coordinate with vendors, venues, and event organizers to ensure seamless execution.
- Oversee event registrations, attendee engagement, and follow-up communications.
- Develop pre-event and post-event marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media, and digital promotions.
- Audience Engagement & Lead Generation
- Work with demand generation teams to create strategies for capturing and nurturing leads from events.
- Develop engagement activities such as speaker sessions, networking opportunities, and interactive demos.
- Track and analyze attendee behavior and event performance to optimize future events.
- Budgeting & ROI Analysis
- Manage event budgets, negotiate contracts, and track expenses to maximize ROI.
- Monitor KPIs, analyze event success, and provide reports with actionable insights.
- Implement strategies to improve event efficiency and impact.
- Partnerships & Collaboration
- Work with industry partners, and media outlets to enhance event visibility.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align messaging and branding across events.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor event strategies.
Skills you have:
- 3+ years of experience in event marketing, preferably in the tech, SaaS, or hosting industry with a strong understanding of web agencies, developers, and freelancers as customers.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience, strongly preferred
- Skilled in organizing and executing events tailored to the needs of these audiences, fostering engagement, and building relationships within the agency ecosystem.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple events simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with partners, vendors, and attendees.
- Proficiency in event management tools, CRM platforms, and marketing automation tools.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to measure event success and optimize performance.
- Willingness to travel for industry events and conferences.
