Key Responsibilities

  • Support the review of excise tax returns across the EMEA region.
  • Assist with managing VAT and Customs compliance for various WFS entities in the region.
  • Maintain indirect tax and customs processes.
  • Manage relationships with third-party service providers and tax authorities.
  • Advise proactively on excise tax matters to business units.
  • Stay informed on new tax and customs developments.
  • Review AP and AR invoices for VAT relief and recovery.
  • Ensure timely VAT payments and resolve issues.
  • Reconcile VAT ledger with reports and returns.
  • Support external tax audits related to indirect taxes in the EU.
  • Provide support to VAT team members as needed.

This is a fixed-term role for 2 years.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years’ experience in Accounting and/or Taxation.
  • At least 3 years’ experience with European/EMEA VAT matters.
  • Knowledge of customs excise duties.
  • Intermediate experience with Oracle.
