Supply Support Analyst
World Fuel is a global energy management company supporting customers across aviation, marine, land, and energy markets.
As our European supply operations continue to grow, we are looking for a Supply Support Analyst to help ensure inventory, supplier, and operational processes run accurately and efficiently across multiple international locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory & Transaction Management
- Ensure inventory transfers, receipts, and adjustments are recorded accurately and processed on time across multiple European supply locations.
- Monitor inventory transactions and investigate discrepancies to maintain data accuracy.
- Review inventory and operational reports to identify and resolve processing issues.
- Support month‑end activities by coordinating with Finance and Costing teams to ensure timely transaction completion.
- Help prevent payment and invoicing delays by resolving transaction and supplier setup issues.
- Operational Support & Problem Resolution
- Serve as a key point of contact between Supply, Finance Operations, Vendor Management, and Costing teams.
- Investigate and resolve inventory, supplier, and transaction‑related issues.
- Coordinate with internal teams to address system errors, interface failures, and process exceptions.
- Escalate risks and operational concerns when appropriate.
- Reporting & Analysis
- Monitor inventory and operational metrics to identify trends and recurring issues.
- Analyze transactional data to improve inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Prepare reports and summaries for management highlighting risks, opportunities, and performance trends.
- Support continuous improvement efforts through data‑driven recommendations.
- Process Improvement
- Document and maintain operational procedures across different countries and supplier groups.
- Identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve controls, and reduce manual effort.
- Partner with Supply Chain and Finance leaders on process improvement initiatives.
- Support testing and implementation of system enhancements and operational changes.
What We're Looking For
- Required
- 2-4+ years of experience in supply chain, inventory management, commercial operations, finance operations, accounting, or a related analytical role.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience working with ERP systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Preferred
- Experience supporting inventory management or supply chain operations across multiple locations.
- Experience working with Oracle or similar ERP platforms.
- Understanding of inventory control, transaction flows, and month‑end processes.
- Experience identifying and resolving operational or system‑related issues.
- Exposure to international operations or European supply chains.
