World Fuel is seeking a commercially driven Supply Executive to join our Marine Fuels team based in Singapore. In this role, you will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, sourcing marine fuel, and driving growth across the South‐East Asia and ANZ regions. This position plays a key role in developing new supplier partnerships, expanding business with existing suppliers, and supporting day‐to‐day marine fuel supply operations. You will combine market knowledge, analytical insight, and relationship management skills to identify opportunities, optimize supply arrangements, and support operational execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supplier Management & Business Development
    • Develop new business opportunities with existing marine fuel suppliers
    • Identify, research, and onboard new suppliers to expand supply coverage across SEA and ANZ
    • Build and maintain strong, long‐term supplier relationships through regular engagement and site visits
    • Maintain a pipeline of active supplier targets and prospects
  • Market & Commercial Analysis
    • Analyze market trends, pricing dynamics, and commodity movements to identify opportunities
    • Gather, interpret, and share relevant market intelligence to support commercial decision‐making
    • Contribute to competitive pricing strategies through strong numerical and analytical analysis
  • Operational & Logistics Support
    • Support operational and logistics activities as needed, including:
      • Supplier service coordination
      • Fuel delivery scheduling and execution
      • Claims resolution and issue management
    • Partner cross‐functionally to ensure smooth execution and high levels of supplier and customer satisfaction
Key Requirements
  • Experience & Industry Knowledge
    • Open to candidates across multiple levels of seniority, from early‐career to senior professionals
    • Background in shipping, marine fuels, commodities, energy, trading, logistics, or other relevant fields is advantageous but not mandatory
    • Candidates without direct industry experience will be considered, provided they demonstrate strong learning agility and commercial acumen
    • Understanding of commodity markets, supply chains, or commercial operations is beneficial
    • Familiarity with suppliers and market conditions in South‐East Asia and/or ANZ is desirable but not required
  • Skills & Capabilities
    • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret market data and price competitively
    • Confident communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Commercially minded, resilient, and proactive in pursuing new business opportunities
    • Comfortable building relationships, negotiating, and working independently
    • Willingness to actively prospect, develop, and grow new and existing supplier relationships
