Field Service Technician

Social network you want to login/join with: Provide emergency assistance to both internal and external customers, finding both short and long term solutions to issues. Support the company’s compliance efforts by assisting the engineering and fleet teams to ensure operations adhere to all relevant legal and internal policies and regulations. Ensure the company’s remedial and preventative maintenance regimes are implemented in the field. Conduct regular depot audits, spot checks (both random and planned), quality monitoring, and compliance reviews. Assist in contractor work approvals through auditing and quality monitoring. Participate in meetings with contractors to discuss non-compliance issues, cost control, or standards of workmanship. Maintain effective relationships with all internal customers. Promote a positive Health and Safety culture. Comply with relevant site rules when visiting company or contractor locations/sites. Ensure personal safety and the safety of the team, colleagues, contractors, visitors, and customers within the workplace. Travel Requirements The role involves supporting the company network nationwide. Travel throughout the UK (mainly England and Wales) is required. Overnight stays will be necessary. A full UK Clean Driving Licence is essential. Education A relevant technical qualification such as an NVQ/ONC/HNC/HND in an engineering discipline. Registration with Weights and Measures to calibrate, verify, and reseal metering systems. CSCS or equivalent card. SPA Passport to Safety. Work Experience Background or understanding of fuel tank or vehicle regulations (desirable). Understanding of pumping and metering systems (desirable). Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
