Supply Analyst – Aviation Fuel (EMEA)

Location: World Fuel, Canary Wharf, London (One Canada Square)

About the Role

Join World Fuel, a global leader in energy solutions, and play a key role in ensuring reliable, cost-effective aviation fuel supply across Europe. As a Supply Analyst, you'll manage bulk fuel operations, logistics, and scheduling, while optimizing supply chain efficiencies. This role is critical to delivering exceptional service to our customers and supporting our EMEA team's success. You'll also handle day-to-day hedging of physical positions, giving you exposure to risk management and market dynamics. While you'll focus on a specific region, collaboration across EMEA is essential—this is a team-driven environment where your impact will be felt globally.

What You'll Do

  • Inventory Management & Scheduling: Maintain optimal fuel inventory levels and schedule deliveries, working closely with suppliers and Into-Plane Agents.
  • Pipeline & Truck Dispatch: Coordinate pipeline and truck deliveries, ensuring timely and efficient supply.
  • Transaction Processing: Accurately process bulk transactions, payments, and receivables.
  • Supply & Market Analytics: Analyze supply-demand patterns and identify opportunities to improve supply chain performance.
  • Operational Excellence: Drive continuous improvement, monitor KPIs, and ensure contractual compliance.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Share best practices and support colleagues across EMEA for overall success.

What We're Looking For

  • Education: Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience: Entry-level candidates with an interest in aviation, fuel supply, or logistics are welcome. Knowledge of hedging and price risk management is a plus. Supply chain experience in oil or energy is desirable but not essential.
  • Skills: Strong Microsoft Excel skills. Analytical mindset with excellent numerical and problem-solving abilities. Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Languages: Fluent English and French required. Additional European languages are a plus.
