In this critical frontline role, you’ll ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant delivery of aviation fuel to aircraft, helping keep flights on schedule and passengers in the air. You’ll be part of a high-performing team that operates to the highest standards of Safety, Security, Health, and Environment (SSHE), with full training and support provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely handle, store, and transport aviation fuel
- Conduct into-plane refuelling in line with company procedures
- Accurately record fuel movements and transactions
- Deliver exceptional customer service as the first point of contact
- Follow emergency procedures and maintain safety protocols
- Input operational data into the i6 system and complete daily reconciliations
- Support vehicle and manpower planning
- Maintain training and competency in all fuel handling procedures
What You’ll Need
- LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence with 2+ years’ experience
- Fuel tanker experience (refuelling experience is a strong advantage)
- Live within 45 minutes of Luton Airport
- Able to pass airport security clearance, including a criminal record check
- Flexible approach to working hours within a 24 hour shift plan
- Willingness to cover holidays and sickness working overtime
- Basic numeracy, English language and IT/data entry skills
- Strong safety awareness and a customer-focused mindset
