Are you ready to take on a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient refuelling of aviation products? Join our team as a Refuelling Operator and be part of a dynamic environment where safety, security, health, and environmental compliance are paramount. Key Responsibilities- Safety and Compliance: Operate to the highest standards of Safety, Security, Health, and Environment (SSHE) compliance. Proactively assess, identify, and report SSHE-related matters or incidents, fully participating in and utilizing the Company’s safety systems and tools.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure the integrity of all Company safety and operational standards. Follow the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) for all operational activities.
- Aviation Product Handling: Safely handle, store, and move aviation products, including into-plane refuelling, in accordance with Company quality control and operating standards.
- Stock Management: Accurately record all stock movements and sales.
- Emergency Response: Operate correct emergency procedures in the event of incidents.
- Customer Service: Act as the first point of contact with customers, maintaining the highest standard of customer service levels.
- Training and Competency: Participate in training and maintain competency in all procedures associated with the handling of aviation products and into-plane refuelling operations.
- Safety Procedures: Implement Company Safety and Emergency Procedures as necessary.
- Scheduling: Schedule work to ensure refuelling is completed on time. Assist with the planning of vehicles and/or manpower.
- Data Management: Input all necessary data into the AVR computer system to control all sales transactions and product movements, including end-of-day reconciliation.
- Record Keeping: Maintain all necessary records on refuelling and product quality activities.
- Training Completion: Complete annual training in 360 and SMITHS.
Requirements
- Driving License: LGV 2 (C) driving license.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of current LGV Class 2 driving experience.
- Decision Making: Strong decision-making skills with strict HSE standards and guidelines.
- Teamwork: Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
- Problem Solving: Apply initiative and effective problem-solving skills.
- Skills: Basic numeracy, data input, and IT skills. Effective interpersonal skills and oral and written communication skills in English.
- Flexibility: Flexible approach to work, including overtime working.
- Manual Handling: Experience in manual handling.
- Safety Mindset: Strong values around health and safety.
- Time Management: Excellent time management and self-organization skills.
- Compliance: Working to external legislative and authority requirements.
- Education: Educated to GCSE level, with grade C or above in English and Maths.
- Experience: Previous refuelling experience and fuels tanker experience.
- Knowledge: Safe handling, storage, and movement of fuel products, preferably aviation fuel. Experience and knowledge of aviation fueling systems.
