Our Global Employee Relations (GER) team is growing. If you have a passion for working in a team that is thriving towards becoming a world class ER and workplace investigations function. You will be working closely with HR and other stakeholders at the company to ensure a timely provision of expert ER consulting and investigations experience to workplace matters. The successful candidate will also be an integral member of the GER team in supporting and implementing our ER operating framework globally.
What you'll do
- Employee relations
- Implement ER frameworks, building guidelines and standard operating procedures.
- Support on HR compliance and HR policies matters including drafting and implementing such in a legally compliant manner.
- Poor performance management.
- Reductions in workforce.
- HR/Manager training.
- Employment Investigations
- Partner with HR and business leaders to manage and resolve employee concerns, and grievances effectively.
- Conduct thorough and independent employment investigations in line with company policies, procedures and legal requirements.
- Refine the investigations process to streamline and bring in efficiencies.
- Operational Excellence
- Train HRGs and managers on employee relations topics.
- Create and maintain ER database on case management systems.
- Assess ER risk and trends analysis and support in building action plans to mitigate legal and compliance risk where necessary.
- Collaborate with cross functional team to effectively resolve workplace matters.
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in law (ideally) or HR focusing on employee relations matters and employment investigations.
- Deep experience in employee relations and employment investigations, in UK/Europe or the wider EMEA region. Experience outside EMEA is also a plus.
- Strong knowledge of EMEA employment laws and regulations.
- Experience working with Unions/Work Council.
- Strong willingness to learn and grow on the job.
- Must be able to work under pressure and deal with complex issues.
- Strong analytical and writing skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Clear and respectful communications.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team and leaders in a fast-paced environment.
- Can do attitude. Have a "learn it all" mindset and not a "know it all" mindset.
