About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and flexible Warehouse Operative to join our fast-paced pharmaceutical supply chain team at our Service Centre in Newcastle. As a key player in serving millions of patients across the UK, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of the medical supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Replenish the Automat System
- Pick and pack orders on the manual picking belt, bulk, fridge, and secure areas
- Carry out roles within transport and routing completed orders to their destination

Due to the nature of the role, you will need to be capable of standing and walking for long periods of time as well as carrying out manual handling activities in line with our Health and Safety standards. Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
- 2+ years of experience in warehouse support, distribution operations, shipping, receiving, inventory control, material handling, or a related field required.
- Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), or equivalent certification preferred.
- Knowledge in fleet operations administration and transportation support processes.
- Knowledge in warehouse operations including receiving, storage, order preparation, shipment processing, and inventory movement.
- Knowledge in logistics documentation, transaction controls, and operational record maintenance.
- Knowledge in warehouse and transportation systems used for status updates, tracking, and transaction processing.
- Knowledge in loss prevention, material handling, and operational control requirements.
- Ability to process routine and moderately complex operational activities within established procedures.
- Ability to identify causes of routine operational issues, analyze basic data, and support issue resolution.
- Ability to maintain accurate operational records and transaction visibility across logistics workflows.
- Ability to communicate with internal and external contacts to obtain or provide operational information of moderate importance.
- Ability to support continuous improvement changes in systems and processes within defined guidelines.
