- Work Pattern: 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, OT available.
Summary of Role
MWI Animal Health UK is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Multi Drop Van Driver to join our team. Founded by veterinarians, for veterinarians, MWI Animal Health is a leading supplier to the veterinary industry and part of AmerisourceBergen, a Fortune Top 10 company. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering products safely and efficiently to customers while providing excellent service at every interaction. As one of the key customer-facing representatives of the business, you will play an important role in maintaining our high standards of customer care and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Deliver company products to customers safely, efficiently and on time
- Maintain a safe and competent standard of driving, observing all road traffic laws and regulations
- Complete daily vehicle checks, including lights, brakes, coolant and general roadworthiness
- Report any vehicle faults, breakdowns, accidents or delays promptly
- Maintain the cleanliness and condition of vehicles, both internally and externally
- Ensure adequate fuel levels are maintained for daily operations
- Maintain the security of the vehicle and its contents at all times
- Check delivery documentation and ensure all orders are loaded correctly before departure
- Collect returned goods, mail and delivery bins, returning them safely to the branch
- Manage damages and breakages in accordance with company procedures, including HazChem requirements where applicable
- Maintain a professional and smart appearance at all times
- Build and maintain positive customer relationships
- Support warehouse operations and other duties as required by management
- Comply with all Health and Safety requirements.
Skills and Knowledge
- Full UK driving licence relevant to the vehicle being driven
