The WANO London Office is looking for a talented individual to join our team in the role of Junior Developer on a fixed-term contract for 12 months.
The Junior Developer contributes to our organisation through a dynamic blend of software development and Data Science. This role utilises Python programming for both purposes: building full-stack web applications and implementing Data Science/machine-learning solutions to solve complex business problems.
The position involves working across the entire lifecycle – from analysing data and creating predictive models to implementing user-friendly web interfaces that make these solutions accessible to the wider organisation. The balance between development and Data Science responsibilities will adapt based on project requirements and organisational priorities.
The candidate will manage their technical workflow while collaborating effectively with our team, bringing both analytical thinking and software engineering skills to deliver practical, impactful solutions.

- Testing and future development– ensuring business applications are tested, working as intended and are fit for purpose.
- Data science– clean, transform, and prepare raw data for analysis and model development as well as producing structured, high-quality datasets ready for analysis and modelling.
