Role Overview
You will be responsible for building the pipeline in the UK & USA on foundations that are already in place: a defined ICP, six mapped buyer personas, vertical messaging, sequences and a call playbook.
Your job is to run them hard and sharpen them with what you learn on the phone, not to start from a blank page.
This is a 50/50 cold call and email sequencing role focused on getting the right people into qualification and demo calls.
Hit your number in the first six months and you are on the path to mid-market AE, owning a vertical end to end.
- What You’ll Do
- Outbound, every day.
Roughly 50% cold calls, 50% email sequencing.
You will target Trust & Safety operations and technical roles across our priority verticals, working the accounts where the pain is already live.
- Book the right meetings.
Success is a booked qualification or demo call with an actual stakeholder, or a qualified team with a clear path through a buying journey.
A meeting with someone who cannot move the deal forward does not count.
- Volume matters, quality matters more.
The seniority of the contact and the fit of the account decide whether a meeting becomes pipeline.
That means high-touch, researched sequences rather than volume for its own sake.
- Build the top of the funnel on what already exists.
Account lists, sequences, call scripts, objection handling and qualification criteria are all in place.
You will not spend your first month building infrastructure.
You will pick up the playbook, run it, and start booking meetings while you learn where it needs sharpening.
- Close the feedback loop.
Which objections come up on cold calls, which messages land in sequences, which segments respond.
That intelligence goes back to sales leadership, product and marketing, and it shapes what we build and how we position it.
- Your first four weeks
- Week one: learn the ground.
Tool access, playbooks, vertical messaging and ICP.
Product demos and your first objection-handling practice.
By Friday you should be able to explain who we are, what we sell and who we sell it to.
- Week two: start moving. Begin prospecting over email and Linked In, and practise calls and objection handling with the sales team before you take them live.
- Week three: full outbound. Working sequences and dialling properly. We will review the calls and the replies with you and pick out where you need support.
- Week four: sharpen. Focused retraining on the gaps week three exposed, so you finish the month up to speed by having done the job rather than by having read about it.

Who we're looking for
- Comfortable on the phone. This is a real cold-call job, not Linked In-only outbound. Half your day is dials.
- Strong technical fluency. You can read our product documentation, understand what it does, and hold a credible conversation with a Trust & Safety lead or an engineering manager.
- One to three years in SDR or BDR sales at a B2B Saa S company.
Experience at an early-stage team, where you owned your own sequences rather than inheriting them from an enablement function, is a strong signal.
- Experience prospecting into mid-market and enterprise accounts.
Our buyers sit at companies with real procurement, security and compliance requirements, so the cycle is longer than a transactional SMB motion.
