Animal Keeper
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic animal keeper to carry out all duties associated with park and animal management including enclosure maintenance, animal welfare, conducting tours, animal food preparation (weigh, portion, prepare, store), and general duties.
This is a full‑time position with a 14‑day roster. The role requires good communication skills, time management, and knowledge of animal behavior. Overtime and weekend work may be required. Experience in handling horses is an asset but not required.
Qualifications
- Must be willing to do overtime and weekend work.
- Certificate III in Captive Animals or equivalent is an advantage.
- Knowledge and experience in captive management of a range of species.
- Experience in captive animal management is an advantage.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Applicants must be Australian citizens.
- A current driver’s licence is required.
- A competitive wage package will be offered in line with the level of experience and skills.
