Fertilizer Sales Manager β Horticulture
Home based with travel to customers β covering Northern England and Scotland
Β£45,000 β Β£50,000 Basic Salary + Car or Car Allowance + Bonus
The Job Role
Our client is looking for a motivated Sales Professional to grow and support their customer base, with a strong emphasis on the horticultural sector. The role involves developing existing accounts, proactively identifying new business opportunities, and offering expert advice on fertiliser and plant nutrition products.
Key Responsibilities
Utilise excellent interpersonal skills to maintain and develop existing customer accounts. Proactively seek and secure new sales accounts, with a primary focus on the horticultural sector.
Provide technical fertiliser and plant nutrition product advice and continue to develop technical knowledge and awareness.
Job listings
Manage the company\βs social media presence.
Communicate effectively with other staff to fulfil customers\β expectations and provide a high level of customer service.
Report to the Sales Manager.
Candidate Requirements
Knowledge of horticultural or agricultural fertiliser practices, alongside an interest in the amenity sector.
Experience in the sales environment, preferably selling fertilisers or related products, would be an advantage.
Self-motivated and proactive.
Hold FACTS qualification or be willing to study towards the qualification.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with customers.
Have a valid UK driving licence and be willing to undertake domestic travel.
