We are looking for a

Site Reliability Engineer to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate has a strong technical background in software development and systems operations, with experience supporting business-critical applications in a healthcare or regulated environment.

This person will help ensure that systems used by clinical, operational, and administrative teams remain stable, secure, and available.

This role is responsible for building automation, improving observability, reducing manual operational work, supporting integrations, and helping maintain reliable systems that directly impact patient care and business operations.

This is a hybrid position with two in-office days per week at our headquarters in Tempe, AZ.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain reliable, secure, and scalable healthcare technology systems.
  • Develop automation tools to reduce manual support work and improve operational efficiency.
  • Support production applications, internal portals, APIs, integrations, and clinical system workflows.
  • Improve monitoring, alerting, logging, and reporting across applications and infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot incidents involving applications, servers, databases, APIs, network connectivity, and system integrations.
  • Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and post-incident remediation.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for safer and more consistent deployments.
  • Partner with IT, software development, security, compliance, and clinical operations teams.
  • Support healthcare integrations involving EHR/EMR platforms, APIs, data feeds, file transfers, or interface engines.
  • Help define service-level objectives, uptime expectations, escalation procedures, and operational runbooks.
  • Ensure systems are designed and maintained with healthcare security, privacy, and compliance requirements in mind.
  • Document architecture, workflows, troubleshooting steps, deployment processes, and support procedures.
  • Required Qualifications
  • Experience as a Software Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, Dev Ops Engineer, Systems Engineer, or similar technical role.
  • Experience supporting production applications or infrastructure in a business-critical environment.
  • Strong scripting or programming experience with one or more languages such as Python, Power Shell, Bash, Java Script, Go, C#, or SQL.
  • Understanding of application hosting, APIs, databases, networking, DNS, SSL/TLS, firewalls, and system performance.
  • Experience with Linux and/or Windows server environments.
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident troubleshooting.
  • Experience using Git and CI/CD workflows.
  • Ability to analyze complex technical issues across application, server, database, and network layers.
  • Strong documentation skills and ability to create clear runbooks and support procedures.
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a healthcare, clinical, or regulated environment.
  • Familiarity with healthcare compliance concepts such as HIPAA, patient privacy, access control, audit logging, and secure data handling.
  • Experience supporting EHR, EMR, practice management, scheduling, billing, or clinical workflow systems.
  • Familiarity with healthcare data exchange or integration concepts such as HL7, FHIR, APIs, SFTP, EDI, or interface engines.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized application deployments.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, Ansible, or similar.
  • Experience with SQL Server, Postgre SQL, or other relational databases.
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, or similar.
  • Experience supporting change control, incident management, and audit-ready documentation.

The salary range for this position is $115,000 - $145,000 and is dependent on the applicant's relevant skills and experience.
