Work with York Limited are looking to recruit 6 individuals to join a client's Road Safety Training Team.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver Bikeability Levels 1, 2 and 3 by holding the 1st 4Sport Level 2 award in Instructing Cycle training, or be willing to undertake the paid qualification.
  • Deliver Bikeability at primary and secondary schools.
  • Deliver Pedestrian training for school years 3 and 4.
  • Deliver Balance Bike training for pre-school and reception children.
  • Be a regular cyclist, able to cycle up to 25 miles a day to deliver training at schools across the City throughout the year.
  • Engage with schools in classrooms and assemblies as part of training delivery.

Qualifications / Skills

  • Confident using IT programmes, particularly Excel, Word, Emails and a Smart mobile phone.
  • Regular cyclist, able to cover travel across the City year-round.

Compensation and Schedule

Rate of pay: £16.33 per hour. Flexible work all year round.
