Work with York Ltd are recruiting an Adult Night Care Worker for an immediate start for our client based in the community around York.

This role is full time, up to 5 shifts a week, any of the 7 days a week. 9.15pm to 7am.

The rate of pay is between £15.75 to 17.19 per hour.

Benefits include online weekly timesheets, holiday pay, a workplace pension scheme, uniform provided, and online training given.

Duties include

  • Working in pairs in the Community, providing sensitive and flexible support to the elderly.
  • Assisting with medication when needed.
  • Providing sensitive and flexible support.
  • Following and contributing to individual and service care plans, risk assessments and policies.
  • Keep accurate and timely records, respecting and maintaining customers’ privacy and confidentiality.

You will need

  • A full UK drivers licence.
  • At least 6 months care experience.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with customer and carers and consult with other professionals in emergency situations.
  • Work on your own initiative, as well as part of a larger team.
  • Have the right to work in the United Kingdom.
  • Have an Adults DBS on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one.

We will therefore require successful candidates to undertake an enhanced Criminal Record check via the Disclosure and Barring Service unless they already have a DBS on the Update Service.
