What You’ll Be Doing
The Credit Controller will play a vital role in ensuring that Aged Debt is collected efficiently by ensuring client queries are swiftly resolved and credit limits remain intact. By maintaining a well-managed ledger, you will directly contribute to enabling our client’s efficient operation. This role requires 3 years of consistent B2B Credit Control experience and a proactive approach to continuous improvement and exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Build on existing relationships with clients to ensure Aged Debt is collected in a timely manner
- Maintain strong organisational and time management skills to manage workload and prioritise tasks
- Be highly PC literate with strong system skills and proficiency in financial software (Microsoft and accounting software)
- Investigate and resolve complex account queries
- Proactively manage and collect invoices through various communication channels
- Prioritise tasks effectively and work independently to manage multiple duties
- Communicate clearly and analyse information to support payment resolutions
- Collaborate with Management and Sales Teams to resolve payment disputes and enhance relationships

- Strong client relationship skills and a focus on timely debt collection
- Excellent organisational and time management capabilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and accounting/financial software

- Experience in managing invoices across multiple channels
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
- Collaborative approach with Management and Sales to resolve disputes
Preferred
- Working knowledge of Self Bills accounts
- Experience identifying opportunities to enhance processes and service delivery
- Experience with Back Office Systems
