Workwell Global (WWG) makes global hiring easy for employers, handling the tricky aspects of employment including compliance, payroll, and onboarding so clients can focus on growing their business.

To support its continued growth, WWG is delivering a strategic transformation programme to unify its MS D365 CE capability alongside its custom-build client and worker portal.

  • What You’ll Be Doing
  • Own and drive end-to-end delivery of the D365 CE and custom portal projects, running multiple concurrent workstreams including CRM functional configuration/development, portal development, integrations, data migration, and business readiness, each with its own scope, team, dependencies, and delivery cadence.
  • Maintain a consolidated Project delivery roadmap that reflects dependencies across all workstreams, with clear milestones, critical path visibility, and phase-gate criteria agreed with the Senior Product Owner and Group Programme Manager.
  • Run Agile delivery ceremonies, sprint planning, stand‑ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, partnering closely with the Senior Product Owner who leads backlog refinement and requirements, ensuring the team always has a well‑prepared, prioritised pipeline to pull from.
  • Create, maintain, and track all detailed delivery plans including sprint plans, dependency maps, business readiness plans, data migration plans, testing schedules, communications plans, and training plans, monitoring progress against these throughout each phase.
  • Manage resource capacity and allocation across concurrent workstreams, drawing from a shared engineering team that also services other group initiatives, forecasting demand against the wider portfolio, identifying contention and pressure points early, and working with engineering leads and the Group Programme Manager to secure and protect the allocation needed to hit Project milestones.
  • Manage competing priorities and trade‑offs across delivery, making clear, evidence‑based decisions on sequencing and escalation.
  • Produce regular Project status reports and forecasts for the Group Programme Manager using standardised RAG formats, covering all active workstreams with clear variance explanations and proposed mitigations.
  • Own and maintain the Project RAID log, escalating critical risks, issues, and dependencies with clear mitigation and resolution plans, and contributing to programme‑level governance reporting.
  • Represent the D365 CE and Portal project at governance forums, steerco, and architecture review boards, providing accurate delivery status across all concurrent workstreams.
  • Coordinate with other business units who consume the D365 platform, ensuring configuration, release, and architectural decisions taken inside this Project are aligned with their usage, surfaced through the right governance, and do not destabilise their operations.
  • Engage proactively with the leads of other group programmes to surface cross‑programme impacts in both directions and align on the timing and sequencing of delivery across the wider portfolio.
  • Identify, map, and actively manage cross‑team and cross‑workstream dependencies, particularly between D365 CE configuration, portal development, integration and API work, data migration, and business operations teams, maintaining a dependency register that is current and visible at programme level.
  • Act as the primary delivery point of contact for the Project, leading and coordinating the cross‑functional delivery team including developers, testers, integration engineers, and data migration specialists, while owning the relationship with third‑party partners and internal stakeholders, holding the team accountable to agreed milestone schedules and quality standards, and ensuring every workstream is structured, resourced, and set up to deliver.
  • Own change management and business readiness end‑to‑end for the Project, from impact assessments and stakeholder analysis, through business readiness planning, end‑user training logistics, internal communications scheduling, and adoption tracking, into post‑go‑live sustainment, ensuring the organisation is operationally prepared to receive each change across both D365 CE and the portal, and that the operational side of change is planned, resourced, and executed in step with the technical delivery.
  • Define and enforce go/no‑go criteria for each release in collaboration with the Senior Product Owner, managing cut‑over planning, parallel running where required, and rollback contingency plans.
  • Own the hyper‑care period post go‑live, ensuring issues are triaged and resolved promptly, and that formal operational handover to BAU is completed before each workstream is closed.
  • Own the change control process for the Project, assessing the delivery, cost, and dependency impact of scope changes before escalating to the Group Programme Manager for approval, working with the Senior Product Owner to assess the requirements and value impact.
  • Ensure all delivery artefacts including plans, RAIDs, decisions, test evidence, and meeting records are maintained and up to date in the agreed tooling and are audit‑ready at all times.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement across the Project team, running effective retrospectives and ensuring actions are followed through.
  • We’d Love To Hear From Someone That Has/is
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience delivering complex technology programmes, with demonstrable experience managing concurrent workstreams within a single programme, ideally involving Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE, custom software development, or both.
  • Proven track record of end‑to‑end Project delivery from initiation through to go‑live and hyper‑care, with clear ownership of delivery plan, RAID, and governance.
  • Experience with project rescues.
  • Demonstrable experience working in close partnership with a Product Owner or BA lead, with a clear understanding of the distinction between delivery accountability and product accountability, and how the two roles need to work together.
  • Confident communicator at all levels, from developer to C‑suite, with the ability to produce clear, concise Project status reporting and facilitate productive cross‑functional meetings.
  • Highly organised, structured thinker who can hold multiple workstreams in focus simultaneously without losing grip on detail or pace.
  • Commercially aware and outcome‑focused, comfortable operating under pressure in a fast‑paced environment where priorities shift and clarity is often hard‑won.
  • Domain Knowledge
  • Working familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE, sufficient to understand the Project’s technical landscape, manage delivery risks, hold informed conversations with the Developers and Product Owner, and track workstream progress meaningfully.

The Delivery Manager must understand enough about D365 CE to know when something is genuinely complex and when it is not.

  • Sufficient understanding of custom software development lifecycles, including portal or web application development, to manage delivery of a bespoke client and worker portal alongside a D365 CE Project without conflating the two SDLC approaches.
  • Familiarity with system integration patterns (REST APIs, Azure Service Bus, middleware) at a level sufficient to manage integration delivery risk and coordinate effectively between the team and adjacent workstreams.
  • Understanding of data migration as a delivery discipline, the phases, the risks, the tooling, and the level of business involvement required to plan and govern migration workstreams effectively.
  • Understanding of business readiness, change management, and operational transition as distinct delivery disciplines, not just a go‑live checklist, but a planned workstream with its own dependencies, timelines, and success criteria.

Desirable

  • MSP, PMP, or PRINCE2 Practitioner, or equivalent Project management qualification or equivalent scaled Agile certification.
  • Experience delivering Projects that span both a Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform and a parallel bespoke software development workstream.
  • Experience in or exposure to the global employment, Employer of Record (EOR), payroll, or workforce solutions sector, or comparable experience in a regulated, operations‑intensive business.
  • Experience working with ambiguity and bringing clear structure to environments.
  • What You’ll Be Part Of

This is a senior, high‑impact delivery role at the heart of a strategically important transformation Project within a business on a mission to make global hiring easy.

You will work in close partnership with the Senior Product Owner, forming the leadership pairing that defines what gets built and ensures it gets delivered.

You will have real accountability for pace, for quality, for the team, and for the organisation’s readiness to operate what the Project produces.

Working alongside talented engineers, architects, and business stakeholders, you will play a visible, central role in a Project that directly underpins WWG’s growth and the experience of the workers and clients it supports.
