We are a UK-based manufacturer of premium botanical extracts for the cosmetics and personal care industry, supplying global beauty brands and ingredient distributors with clean, natural, and sustainable solutions.
As a B2B company, responsive and technically knowledgeable communication with our clients is key to our success. We are currently seeking a dedicated Product Development Coordinator to cover a 12-month maternity leave, with the possibility of transitioning into a permanent position based on performance.
To support your success in the role, comprehensive training will be provided across all key responsibilities, ensuring you feel confident and well-equipped from day one.

Key Responsibilities & Attributes

• Respond promptly and professionally to customer and distributor inquiries, primarily via email.
• Provide clear and accurate product and technical information to external stakeholders.
• Liaise with internal Production and Quality Control teams to coordinate lead times and required documentation.
• Support sample requests, manage follow-up communications, and ensure timely delivery.
• Demonstrate excellent written communication skills and strong organisational abilities.
• Exhibit a positive, solutions-focused attitude and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly motivated, hard-working, and proactive in taking initiative.
• Capable of prioritising tasks, managing time efficiently, and handling heavy-duty tasks effectively.

• Prior experience in customer service, sales support, or B2B account management.
• A background in biology, cosmetic science, chemistry, or a related discipline is highly preferred. However, candidates with relevant professional experience in other fields will also be considered.
• Detail-oriented with a structured and organised approach to client engagement.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently within a small, fast-moving team led by ownership.

Contract Details

• 12-month maternity cover (Full-time)
• Contract may be extended or converted to permanent based on performance and business needs.
• On-site position at our Loanhead facility (near Edinburgh).
