Our client, a leader in their field, is now seeking a Sales Account Manager to support in the development of new partners to ensure the continued expansion of the UK market. The requirement is for an office-based point of contact for existing customers, developing long-term relationships and generating additional business. Previous experience and a track record of building and delivering relationships is essential.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:- To develop contacts and relationships with customers that ensure we are first choice when placing orders, first refusal in any competitive situation and to be familiar with customers' regular requirements.
- Develop market categories & specifically new industries.
- Log, track and maintain outbound activity via Salesforce.
- Update customer information in our CRM & ERP.
- Conduct customer visits throughout the UK to strengthen relationships and secure new business.
- Maintain market & competitor knowledge.
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge & competitor awareness which will enable you to offer alternative products when necessary.
The ideal candidate will possess the following experience:
- B2B Sales, Account management or Internal Sales background.
- Enthusiastic and willing to learn new skills and work within a small, fast-paced company.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
- Proficient in HubSpot, CRM systems, Office 365.
- Confident communicator both internally with the team and externally with your managed accounts.
- Proactive, organized, great time and workload management to prioritize tasks and actions.
- Experience with working within the software industry desirable but not essential.
