Hours: Monday to Friday 9-5pm

Our client is a well-established and growing business seeking a proactive Internal Sales Coordinator to join their friendly team. This is a varied role combining new business, account management and sales administration, making it ideal for someone who enjoys building customer relationships.

As a Sales Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting customers throughout the sales process while identifying opportunities to maximise sales and strengthen client relationships:

  • Manage a portfolio of existing customer accounts, building long-term relationships.
  • Respond to inbound sales enquiries, preparing quotations and following up opportunities.
  • Manage customer expectations by phone, e-mail and other appropriate means of communication.
  • Use a pro-active approach for the upselling of current promotions.
  • Collaborate with key account managers targeting market sectors to identify and generate New Business.
  • Qualifying prospects from initial enquiries generating new business leads to handover to the sales team, allocating the correct sales manager.
  • Communicating with customers to identify their needs and requirements and identify sales opportunities.
  • Supporting sales with onboarding new business, follow up calls/feedback, identifying opportunities to maximize sales.
  • Support when required on Focus accounts.
  • Maintain data, customer details, pricing, and general updates in CRM & SAP.
  • Support the external sales team with quotations, account management and administration.
  • Help achieve team sales targets by delivering outstanding customer support and identifying opportunities for account growth.

Previous experience within an Internal Sales, Sales Coordinator, Sales Support or Customer Account Management role is required. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills are essential. A proactive and commercial approach with a passion for delivering excellent customer service is necessary. Good IT skills, including experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office, are also important.
